How sharing works

The whole countdown lives in its link — the title, the moment, the colour. Nothing is stored anywhere, so there is nothing to delete and no account to make. Send the link and whoever opens it sees the live count in their own time zone, with the same rule printed under the number that every page on this site uses.

Tap Open in the app on an iPhone with Countdown installed and the countdown is added with everything filled in. Without the app, the same button shows the countdown in the browser and offers the App Store.
